AP Physics 1
AP Physics 1 is an algebra-based, introductory college-level physics course. Students cultivate their understanding of physics through inquiry-based investigations as they explore these topics: kinematics; dynamics; circular motion and gravitation; energy; momentum; simple harmonic motion; torque and rotational motion
AP Physics C
AP Physics C is equivalent to a first-year college level course in physics with calculus. It includes an in-depth development of the mathematical aspects of physics in two areas: mechanics and electricity/magnetism. A combination of lectures, demonstrations, problem-solving exercises, and laboratory activities provides a wide range of experiences for the student. Students will be scheduled for a double bell every other day.
AP Physics 2
AP Physics 2 is an algebra-based, introductory college-level physics course. Students will expand their understanding of physics by exploring the topics of fluids; thermodynamics; electric force, field, and potential; electric circuits; magnetism and electromagnetic induction; geometric and physical optics; and quantum, atomic, and nuclear physics. This is a hands-on and inquiry-based in-class.
